Salma Agha is a Pakistani-British singer and actress who gained fame in the 1980s. She was born on October 25, 1956 in Karachi, Pakistan. Agha made her Bollywood debut in the film "Nikaah" in 1982, which was a huge success and garnered her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer.
She went on to sing in several other Bollywood films and act in both Indian and Pakistani movies. Agha is known for her powerful and soulful voice, and has released several albums in both Hindi and Urdu.
